be here now
Be present during your daily activities. Reconnect with your body and let go of any tension, pain or blockages you may have.
focus
The more you can focus your attention and energy on what you are doing, the more effective the results.
visualize
The more intensely you can see or visualize what you want to happen in your life, the more you will experience and manifest the results. Visualize healing, relaxing, etc.
affirm
Be positive. Believe in what you are doing. When you doubt, you block yourself.
diet
Eat a variety of live, wholesome and fresh foods. Take care in the preparation and combination of your choices. Reduce your intake of white flour, sugar, fried and processed foods. Eat plenty of vegetables, fruits, whole grains and lean proteins. (Check with your physician if you have any health concerns.)
air and breath
Breath is the rhythm of consciousness and generates life. Breathe fresh, clean outdoor air every day. Breath into your abdomen – allow your belly to rise and fall with each breath.
breathing and relaxing
Take time to focus on your breath each day. Concentrate on maintaining a continuous breath. Take full deep breaths into your abdomen. Breathe in through your nose and out your mouth. Keep your jaw relaxed. Allow your exhalation to be a letting go. Do not hold your breath or force/push it out as both require the tensing of muscles. You may allow a sound or sigh to come out as you exhale reminding your mind to release.
water
Drink clean pure water. At least eight 8 ounces of water each day. (Check with your physician if you have any health concerns.)
light
Take time to be in the sunlight every day. Don’t forget your sunscreen.
conscious relaxation/meditation
Give yourself the gift of letting your mind, body and spirit relax and rest. Take a few minutes every day to break from your usual routine and sit quietly and breathe.
exercise and stretch
Improve your physical and mental health with 15 to 20 minutes of exercise daily. Strength training and mind/body exercise like Tai Chi, yoga, Pilates, etc. are wonderful methods. (Check with your physician if you have any health concerns.)
get regular massage therapy
Massage is essential maintenance and nourishment for your body, mind and spirit. In addition to feeling great, massage gives us the opportunity to attain greater self awareness, improve our health and create a more balanced life. “Regular” massage may range from 2-3 times per week to 4 times per year, it all depends on you: your schedule, your budget and your reasons for receiving massage. Be sure to discuss your options with your therapist.
rest
Get adequate rest and sleep. Do your best to get 6-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep.
be positive
Negative thoughts and behaviors are habits, which can be changed through conscious effort and consistency.
smile
Smile every day. Smiling takes less muscular tension than frowning. When you smile you send a message to both yourself and others that you are happy. You will manifest more joy in your life.
be grateful
When you remind yourself of the things you are grateful for, you will train your mind and heart to look for the good in your life and those around you. You will experience more ease and peace.
Make it a great day!
